south london family photoshoot

i first met matilda, her husband james and their newborn son at a mutual friend's celebratory summer bbq. their energy was so wholesome with a happy baby in tow, i knew right away they'd be a dream to photograph (spoiler, i was totally right).

as a london family photographer, i am in the heart of a bustling city and am often travelling through different boroughs for work. on the morning of their in-home family session, i hopped on the overground and headed south. upon arrival, i was greeted with sweet little theo and we headed up to the nursery. we took cosy portraits throughout the home with lots of lovely natural light, and ended in their lush garden!

the pride i feel when i return home after documenting a young family is my 'why'. these memories will be what theo and his loved ones look back on for generations to come — what a privilege. as always, thank you for your trust and support. x
